Job Summary: The Seasonal Recruitment Clerk will act as an extension of the Full-time Recruitment Supervisor by executing tasks to source, interview, assist, and hire applicants.
Essential Job Duties:
Review, print and distribute applications for hiring departments
Follow through with applicants and new hires
Arrange interviews with necessary departments and applicants
Assist applicants with all hiring paperwork
Hire Team Members into the ADP system
Schedule Team Members for Orientation
Run weekly file audits
Clearly and regularly communicate with management
Ensure applicants are being processed in appropriate amount of time
Assist managing the HR Office in assisting with scheduling interviews, processing new hires, and preparing files for Discovery
Assist with the weekly Payroll Run for all exiting team members and special requests to include: requests, matching checks, and payroll paperwork preparation for team members that are exiting the company
Manage grooming and time keeping policies and enforcement
Respond to Team Member concerns regarding payroll inquiries and direct appropriately as needed
Manage HR Break Schedules daily and creation in advance
Coach and Counsel the team as needed
Other job duties as assigned
Our Ideal Candidate:
Must be proactive with great attention to detail
Must be positive, optimistic and eager to learn
Must possess one year prior experience in Human Resources or equivalent education/experience
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel; Access experience preferred
Must possess exceptional communication skills
Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Must be able to handle documents, issues, and conversations with extreme confidentiality
Must be able to use independent judgment and effectively prioritize
Must be able to positively and effectively communicate in English both in verbal and written format
Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties
Must be able to live the Six Flags Mantra and adhere to all grooming standards
Must be able to use a multiline phone (placing someone on hold, transferring calls, and checking voicemail)
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50lbs with or without assistance
Working knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures to include minor labor laws and wage and hour compliance preferred
Ability to demonstrate effective written communication to include reports, tracking systems, file notes, e-mail correspondence, facsimile correspondence, and other required methods
Ability to maintain objectivity in times of pressure and take direction
Previous Recruiting experience preferred
Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays

Six Flags will continue to provide job offers to qualified applicants after a successful interview. If selected, Six Flags will offer participants a minimum hours guarantee for 2016. The hours range from 30 to 35 (depending on time of year) with a minimum of 35 hours available during the summer season.
Six Flags has jobs in Ride Operations, Games and Attractions, Lifeguarding, Food Services, Entertainment, Ticket Selling, Safari Touring, and Guest Relations. Many of our parks have leadership positions available for qualified applicants. All our jobs require a great deal of interaction with our guests, so you will need a solid command of English. Our pay rates vary between different parks and positions.
Housing is provided for a fee for all Six Flags jobs. Housing varies by location. Most of our housing accommodations have kitchens. You'll be charged rent on a weekly basis and it will be deducted from your paycheck for convenience.
If you don't live close enough to walk to work, Six Flags will arrange transportation. Most parks charge a nominal fee for this service.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR TALENT
• All persons hired must provide their own transportation to and from the park.
• Availability for rehearsals/performances is mandatory and plays a major factor in being hired.
• Please bring up-to-date availability information with you. If hired, your schedule will be based on this information.
• We strongly encourage performers from all cultural backgrounds to audition.
• You must be at least 18 years of age (16 for some positions).
• Arrive at least 30 minutes early to the audition.
• Auditions are open to participants only.
• Be prepared to stay all day. Bring snacks and water.
• Bring updated head shots and resumes, if available.
• Performances could be outside, in day time or at night, and in all weather conditions..
• Please note all positions are seasonal and will be terminated at the end of the show.
• No position is guaranteed 40 hours per work week.
