Admissions Host/Hostess

Position Type: Summer Seasonal (Must be able to work all Saturdays and Sundays)
Description: Greet and sell tickets at the front gate. Make sure Guests enter the park with enthusiasm and excitement, and provide them with information as you check tickets and season passes.
Skills Required: Ability to count and make change from a cash register computer and till bag, work on your feet at all times, and work in an outdoor location. Must be willing to work in all weather conditions, pass math test, and provide a commitment of employment to begin in late May and continue through end of the Season.
Age Requirements: 15 or older

Food Services Host/Hostess

Position Type: Summer Seasonal (Must be able to work all Saturdays and Sundays)
Description: Fast–paced, fun environment preparing and presenting food to thousands of Guests every day. Work with a team to ensure the quality and cleanliness of your restaurant.  
Skills required: Ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Stock handling and storage, restaurant cleaning and set-up. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season, pass math test, and provide a commitment of employment to begin in late May and continue through end of the season.

Lifeguard

Position Type: Summer Seasonal (Must be able to work all Saturdays and Sundays)
Description: Maintain Guest safety in an aquatic environment. Shallow water lifeguard will guard water that is 4' or less in depth. Special facilities lifeguards will guard water that is greater than 4' deep. Provide a safe, and clean aquatics facility, by effectively managing attractions and grounds. Receive monthly training to maintain a high lifeguarding skill level in order to protect our Guests in an exciting and fast-paced environment.
Skills required: Help people and work with a large team to protect lives, and work in all weather conditions,and be comfortable working in and around water of varying temperatures.  Must become licensed through the Jeff Ellis and Associates National Pool and Water Park Lifeguard training program ($100 fee although a reimbursement may be offered from the park if specific requirements are met). Able to work up to 40 hours per week if needed, including nights, weekends, and varied shifts, and provide a commitment of employment to begin in late May and continue through end of the season.

Merchandise Host/Hostess

Position Type: Summer Seasonal (Must be able to work all Saturdays and Sundays)
Description: Provide world class Guest service by assisting Guests with merchandise and transactions. Keep the merchandise displays clean and organized daily, and maintain a safe workplace.
Skills required: Basic math skills to operate cash register and make change accurately. Work standing up in both indoor and outdoor locations, and in all types of weather conditions. Must pass math test and handle cash with or without a register.  Must provide a commitment of employment to begin in late May and continue through end of the season.

Park Services Host/Hostess

Position Type: Summer Seasonal (Must be able to work all Saturdays and Sundays)
Description: Maintain cleanliness of the park, including restrooms, patios and streets. Initiate contact with Guests in a positive manner by providing information/directions and exceptional guest service, as well as assist with other cleaning projects throughout the theme park and water park.
Skills required: Ability to lift a maximum weight of 50-60 lbs. and push a maximum weight of 70 lbs. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, work independently with minimal supervision,and provide a commitment of employment to begin in late May and continue through end of the season.

Parking Lot Attendant

Position Type: Summer Seasonal (Must be able to work all Saturdays and Sundays)
Description: Be the first impression of the park as you greet Guests when they pay for parking. Provide them with park maps and information when they drive through the toll booth.
Skills required: Must be able to handle cash and stand for long periods of time. All attendants need to be safety-conscious, outgoing, and friendly. Must pass math test, and provide a commitment of employment to begin in late May and continue through end of the season.

Security Officer

Position Type: Summer Seasonal /Year Round Seasonal
Description: Performs all tasks assigned by supervisor or managerial. Provide exceptional guest service and general security for Six Flags White Water and surrounding grounds. Provide Guest and employee relations assistance by responding in event of an emergency. Screen guests at the main gate. Stand on duty at an assigned post: direct traffic, and check vehicle stickers. Respond to questions and emergencies in the assigned area including, but not limited to first aid assists, fire alarms, crowd control, and disturbances. Complete necessary reports and narratives on incidents in their assigned locations. Promote safe working environment and eliminate hazards. Ensure that the park is clean and sanitary for all guests and team members. Wear a security uniform and maintain a secure perimeter at all service entrances and main gate.
Skills required: Must be able to protect employees and company property, assist employees and guests with questions, and enforce laws and policies. Good communication skills due to extensive Guest contact, particularly resolving guests' complaints.Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Candidates must pass a background check, a Human Resources interview, officer interview and a Loss Prevention interview. A written test is required and must pass certification test.
