    Cash Control

    Position Type: Seasonal
    Description:  Cash Control is responsible for the collecting, counting, balancing, and depositing of all in-park revenue.  The agent’s role includes administering cash pickups, coin/currency processing, data entry, and cash balancing.  There will be walking throughout the park, lifting, standing, bending, and sitting.  Individuals should be detail oriented, self-motivated and able to work closely with others.
    Skill Requirements:  Basic computer experience required. Candidates must agree to and pass background and credit checks; and possess a High School diploma or GED. Cash handling experience or some type of mathematical/computational work preferred.

    Food Service Attendant

    Position Type: Seasonal
    Description: Setting up a register, greeting our guests, taking their orders, ringing sales up on a cash register, receiving money, and giving change. Ensuring order accuracy and preparing food, filling condiments, and operating soda machine. Also completing cashier paperwork.

    Games Host/Hostess

    Position Type: Seasonal
    Description: Continuously act as a salesperson; selling games of skill to the guests by explaining the rules, providing tips and encouragement, asking for replays and awarding prizes with enthusiasm.  Employees must maintain an even cash bank and handle all cash transactions accurately. Provide all guests with quick and friendly service.
    Skill Requirements: Basic math skills to make change. Communication skills, outgoing and friendly personality, and a safety awareness. Must be able to work outdoors and on your feet in all types of weather conditions.

    Lifeguard

    Position Type: Seasonal
    Description: Shallow Water Lifeguards will guard water that is 5' or less in depth. Special Facilities Lifeguards will guard water that is greater than 5' deep including the Hurricane Bay Wave Pool.  Provide a friendly, safe, efficient and clean aquatics facility, by effectively managing attractions and grounds.  Actively guard all pools, activity areas and slide attractions per Six Flags and Ellis and Associates protocols.  Achieve and maintain Ellis and Associates Lifeguard License.  Adhere to all Ellis and Associates policies and procedures as taught by a licensed Ellis and Associates instructor through Six Flags.  Help maintain park cleanliness.
    Skill Requirements: Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Comfortable in and around water of all temperatures. Must be able to become licensed through the Jeff Ellis and Associates International Lifeguard Training Program.  Able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Market Research - ATS

    Position Type: Seasonal / Internship
    Description: Friendly, out-going, and motivated people to conduct surveys of our Guests.  Face-to-face interaction with Guests entering the park. Ask survey questions, according to script. Accurately record survey answers into a p.d.a.  Meet daily quota with highest degree of accuracy.
    Skill Requirements: Accuracy in recording survey information. Ability to stand for up to 5 hours in a variety of weather conditions.  Reliability and punctuality.  Out-going, friendly personality. Confidence to approach Six Flags Guests.

    Park Services Team Member

    Position Type: Seasonal
    Description: Maintain cleanliness of the park including restrooms, food patios, and streets. Initiate contact with guests in a positive manner by providing information/directions.  Assist with other cleaning projects throughout the theme park and Water Park such as emptying trash cans and cleaning flowerbeds.
    Skill Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum weight of 50-60 lbs and push a minimum weight of 70 lbs. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

    Promotions Coordinator

    Position Type: Internship
    Description: Oversee Market Research employees (including training, managing schedules, motivating, etc). Coordinate coupon and ticket promotions (i.e. comp requests, etc.), radio and television remotes, events, and trade.  Responsible for running log of promotions.  Work at in-park/off-site events (i.e. radio station promotions, VIP Party, etc.).  Administrative responsibilities (i.e. answering phones, filing, upkeep of paperwork, etc.).  Assist with complimentary ticket program.  Conduct Market Research Surveys and other duties as assigned.
    Skill Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.  Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Some knowledge of Six Flags St. Louis park layout.  Some prior experience in planning and coordinating events necessary.  Ability to use Power Point, Excel, Word and the Internet.

    Rides Host/Hostess

    Position Type: Seasonal
    Description: To provide a safe and efficient ride operation as well as a clean environment for our guests.  An ideal candidate must assist guests in the loading and unloading of the ride and check various restraining devices.  Operate the ride's control panel where applicable.  Must observe the ride while it is in motion for the safety of the guests.  Inform guests of the safety policies for the ride.  The candidate must maintain Six Flags' guest first standards, maintain a clean work environment, and maintain a regular attendance record.  The candidate is also responsible for completing other duties as deemed necessary by management.
    Skill Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum weight of 50-60 lbs and push a minimum weight of 30 lbs.

    Security

    Position Type: Seasonal
    Description: Patrol Theme Park and parking lots on foot and by vehicle. Effectively communicate information and directions to guests and employees. Work fixed posts to monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic, while verifying parking stickers, I.D badges, packages, etc. Drive vehicles on mobile patrols. Direct traffic. Assist guests and employees in problem-solving and rapidly respond to emergency situations. Complete written contact, incident and general reports.
    Skill Requirements: Requires strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of standing at a fixed post for long periods of time; able to work in all weather conditions; able to handle stressful situations; able to work at least one weekend day; flexible to change.
